  1. I mean, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. With the exception of Kim, you can see the entire team’s body language change as soon as momentum shifts away from them. The best teams stay relentless even in the face of a deficit, and when they have a lead, step on their opponents’ necks. Our guys seem to cruise, and it’s an awful look.

  2. Also love the quote about the team giving up. How is it you’re a 20 year manager and supposedly 3x manager of the year. Yet you have a team full of superstar admitting they are giving up. I’m sorry idc how good you supposedly are ( p.s he has never been a good manager and their is a reason why the Diamondbacks canned his ass) but when your team has admittedly stated they have given up on games. It’s time for a new voice to take over. The Bob Melvin experiment is over. Time for a manager who has a big voice like Ozzie Guillen.

  3. Well he’s definitely grinding the balls into the ground consistently with all those roll-overs to the right side.

  4. Wtf does that even mean? This team is the only one saying this 🤦🏼‍♂️. What a disaster

  5. This is funny coming from Juan Soto, considering he never grinds in the outfield, and he’s leaving as soon as the contract becomes an issue again

  6. Uhhhh your best player is admitting they are giving up… BoMel needs to nut up and fix something or get canned, that’s embarrassing

  7. It must be pretty easy for these guys to just give up, most of them have already achieved the ultimate dream in the game of baseball. The organization has already set them up for life financially. All they have to do now is pretend to care.

  8. It’s very cool that this is coming out despite the fact these players have gotten to witness a sold out crowd in 95% of games at Petco. I mean the fans have only showed up all damn season long but these “superstars” can just pocket their paychecks and stop showing up whenever they feel like it.

  9. How about each of them talk about how they need to improve and not this general and unaccountable “team has to play better” BS. I have played team sports my entire life. And I know that it all starts with me and my performance, because that is specifically what I can control. And by demonstrating that, you’re showing leadership and determination. These guys are professionals. They don’t need a Manager to tell them how to play baseball or how they should conduct themselves. Don’t play GM. Play ball. Go out there every single day and be better than you were the day before. If each of them did that, then the team would be better overall.

  10. Tatis came back after PED suspension and gave us a spark, once he realized majority of the club is DGAFing he has come on board to the DGAF ship. It’s not a BOMEL thing, it’s an issue with this squad and their chemistry… players like Profar are great for the clubhouse and when we’re relying on a DH with a crappy mustache and worse BA who no longer is our DH but wants to be in every Polaroid photo the team is not going to prevail

  11. Yet I got downvoted to shit just the other day for suggesting that many of our guys aren’t giving full effort this year. People here are just in denial about the entire situation with this team

  12. If I had a nickel every time they said that I would get…

    25 cents, which isn’t much but it’s a lot
