Still kind of wild that Alonso single handedly won that series for the Mets. Whatever the game plan was didn’t work or the pitchers didn’t execute.
Really hope Ross learns a couple lessons from this series: 1. Don’t let a teams best player beat you singlehandedly. 2. Don’t bring Wesnesky in to face lefties. 3. Stop batting Happ 3rd, and keep Tauchman in the lineup at all costs.
