Dave Birkett on Twitter: Kalif Raymond’s new 2-year deal with the Lions is worth $14 million with $8.1 million guaranteed. Nice payday for the All-Pro PR who’s always one of the last in the Lions building.

  1. He deserves it. I’ll be a Raymond fan until the day I die, and having him and ARSB on the same team will be something special to look up to as we have young WRs added to the team over the next few years. Serious ballers.

  2. Hell yeah, that’s a big pay day for him and his family. Feel good for the dude

  3. Raymond has done everything asked of him and more here. Extremely dependable, busts his ass, and I think he’s a great representation of what the team wants to be

Glad to have him around longer and happy he’s getting paid

  4. “It’s ‘us’, ‘I’ didn’t do anything. We did that together, man.”

-~~All Pro punt returner~~ ~~stud wide receiver~~ all around good guy and that other stuff too Kalif Raymond

  5. A good chunk of change but he deserves it and it’s off the books before Hutch/Sewell/Amon Ra really hit the books. Good stuff

  6. Assume he’ll be able to be cut fairly easily for 2025, but man well need him to be a good piece for this year and next. That’s legit dough

  7. Jeeze this tells me he is expected to be a 2a/b receiver. Good for him, he puts in the work.

  8. My first thought was “WHOA, THAT’S A LOT”. However, when I dug into the numbers and intangibles it started to make sense.

Got 981 APY last year and 2nd Team All-Pro.

Been putting in work this year, almost as much as ARSB. Should expect even better numbers as he enters his prime.

    Always available.

By all accounts is a hell of a teammate.

Not sure what the incentives are, but 2/$8M base for all of that seems fair.
