Remind yourself, it’s just one game

  1. It’s a joint practice dressed up like a game. It’s impossible to take anything worthwhile from it. No one is truly trying to win anything. Most guys are just trying to not get hurt. Plays are vanilla. The effort is probably half of a normal game. It’s just to get final roster spots nailed down and for rookies to get an in-game experience simulation
