Matt LaFleur happy to see QB Sean Clifford ‘battle through adversity’

Around 8:40 is where Matt says he’s trying out Joe Barry upstairs to remove some of the emotion and let him see the whole picture from upstairs and not on the field. It was refreshing to hear Matt trying something new with his DC. Something must change. Our D is too good to fail like we did last season.

  1. Just wanted to comment that the title is automatic. This is a post about Joe Barry being moved upstairs for the preseason game. I hope he remains up there. I think it *might* help. Hell, just anything different from last year, please.

  2. Jordan Love is still better but it seems we have a solid backup for sure. Clifford had some nice throws

  3. Lafleur has initiated positive changes for Barry in the past—remember him putting a foot in his ass at halftime of the week 2 Detroit game a few years ago to set the defense on a really good run. They’ll get it figured out.

  4. Clifford the Big Ten Dawg looked pretty great for a 5th round rookie. Especially one that experts said they doubted he’d make the team ( during OTA’s this was said…ridiculous, but yet it was said)
