Wasn’t he offered the highest paid GM in the league by lightyears?
I doubt they were offering more than the Warriors did. But even if it’s half of that it’s worth it for 1/10th of the workload/stress for someone who’s trying to recharge his life. He can still spend a significant amount of time with his family and stay tuned in with the NBA for if/when he decides to come back
