Denver investors making play for WNBA expansion team as league commissioner visits this week, source says

If ever there were a time to try and get the ball rolling it’s now. This city has embraced the Nuggets and basketball more in the last few years and specifically on this championship run, it would cool to see continued
If they could come to an agreement to play at Magness, I could see it working. Capacity there would be a bit larger than average WNBA attendance. Unless Kroenke invests, doubt they would play at Ball but if that somehow happened, could see a long term setup similar to the Mammoth not using the 300’s. The Colosseum is just sad so hopefully they don’t look into that
