  1. That’s Darvish’s 3,169th Major-Pro strikeout, putting him 3rd on the all-time 🇯🇵 list.

    Nomo is 5th, with 3,123 in his NPB/MLB career.

    4th is Masaaki Koyama with 3159.

    2nd is Tetsuya Yoneda with 3388.

    Darvish is still about 1300 short of the Japanese-born major-pro record, which is Masaichi Kaneda with 4490, but Yoneda is within reach.

    E: Forgot about Yoneda.

  2. Saw him pitch in Japan before he came over. He had like 13 Ks in the game I saw. Knew it was just a matter of time before he came over.

  3. I still love him and root for him wherever he goes (as long as it’s never to a division rival).

  4. Congrats Yu! Will always root for that guy. One of my favorite rangers. Didn’t even get too upset when he beat us a few weeks ago.
