[Golson] Per source, New England Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien has referred to rookie WR Demario Douglas is “the most advanced young wideout (he’s) ever coached”. O’Brien also compared his route running and work ethic to DeAndre Hopkins.

  1. Please let him be one of those receivers who’s preseason hype translates to actual games 🙏🏼

  2. As much as I love the hype, BOB also said that one Riley McCarron was a player similar to that of Wes Welker in 2017. McCarron would end up with a total career consisting of 2 years with 0 targets, 0 catches, 0 yards, and 0 touchdowns.

  3. Wasn’t it BOB who said Hopkins didn’t work hard and had his baby mama(s) around all the time and that’s why he traded him for a HB and a pick?

  4. I’ve liked Demario Douglas since the combine. He really looked crisp and sharp there.

All the camp hype has been great.

But he’s also 5’8”. Let’s see what happens when it’s real games. Then we’ll know what’s what.
