  1. Bruh we may have a serious DPOY candidate here. Bunch of teams gonna regret not getting him.

  2. Bro we haven’t had a legit DPOY game breaker in a while. Cox was great but never top 5 in the league, same with Reddick. But this guy might have that type of potential. I’m over the moon potentially we can have a top 5 QB + top 5 Defender at once with Reddick + AJ/DeVonta 🥵🥵🥵 I’m getting all hot and bothered out here

  3. Bruh this is fucking nuts. He’s an absolute machine. He’s making plays all the fucking time. ALL THE FUCKING TIME.

  4. I know they like to ease rookies into the rotation considering the teams depth, but it’s going to be hard to keep this guy off the field. Hard to remember the last Eagles rookie defensive player that made a big impact from day 1.

  5. I really hope the beat reporters aren’t just gassing him up, because I can’t remember the last time a rookie was just absolutely lighting everyone up like this for the eagles

  6. It’s validating and exciting to hear this stuff, but I will say the offensive lines during this PHI/CLE practice sound like they’re having a real rough go.

  7. You know most times fans and teams are hoping that the guy they’re getting matches the production they had in college. But there are sometimes, for various reasons, players actually produce better at the NFL level than they did in college. Whether that be because they are asked to do more, are in a different scheme, getting better training, or just are still developing at an insane rate. Usually these guys have great physicals and great film. Even if the raw numbers don’t blow you away.

The most notable recent guy is Micah Parsons. He was obviously no slouch in college but never came close to the production he has displayed basically since day one in the NFL.

I know we don’t want to get ahead of ourselves here, and DT is a difficult position to learn in the NFL. But Jalen Carter might be another one of those players. Like a Pro Bowler in his sophomore year, All Pro and DPOY candidate in his third type players. And those lofty goals would not surprise anyone who evaluated him. You read any evaluation or watch any breakdown and you get a near perfect DT prospect. And now he’s motivated and surrounded by great workers and people he’s comfortable with.

Basically what I’m saying is, we might see him blossom quicker than we expect.

  8. Really trying to temper my expectations for him as I do all rookies but he is making it so difficult

  9. bro I’m nutting. I’m nutting and there’s nothing you can do to stop me. Just let me nut, bro.
