  1. Positives from today’s baseball:

I guess our rookie rotation really is a three headed monster, as Logan Allen take the mound today. His final line ends up being 6IP, 4H, 0R, 3BB and 7K on 87 pitches. Excellent efficiency and placement (despite what the ump may have called), well done to Good Logan Allen!

Bats were swingin and speed was used, as the offense puts up 3 runs on 7 hits, 2 walks, an error and a 3 stolen bases. 👒 has an excellent day, going 1/2 with 2 walks and 2 stolen bases, exactly what he needs to do everyday. Kwan and 🐐 both get two hits with an RBI and a double respectively, and Calhoun gets a 2 RBI single.

Bullpen! DLS-Stephan-Clase hold the fort and go 3IP, 2H, 0R, 0BB, and 4K. DLS gives up one of the hits but strikes out 3.

The names you’ll know at CBus doing their thing, with JRod(Prospect #24) hitting yet another home run, and Daniel Schneeman getting 2 doubles. (If enough time goes by, hopefully this says a good line for Tommy Mace at Akron tonight. If not, I’ll edit it later with either the line or something from LC for Lynchburg)

I do need to really point out the insanity that is Jonathan Rodriguez at Columbus- he was ranked as our 24th prospect by MLB after the regrading post draft, and has now played 16 games at CBus. During those 16 games- 20/64 (.313) with 5 doubles, 2 triples, and 6 home runs, plus 20 RBI and 3 walks. He has gone completely insane since being sent up, and I can say first hand from Akron he has a glove too. If he gets the strikeouts down (he had a platinum sombrero last week) then he’s a genuine prospect.

  2. We’re only 3.5 games back if the Tigers hold on tonight. Season isn’t over.

    Also, pitching factory goes BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  3. Gavin and Tanner have been getting a majority of the hype and deservedly so, but Logan Allen just told everyone “don’t forget about me, my stuff is nasty too.”

The pitching core of those 3 for years to come is going to strike fear in the hearts of so many lineups.

  4. Whatever this Kole Calhoun experience is. I don’t think I want it ever end

This bullpen still gives war flashbacks whenever they let up a hit but good shit tonight pitching wise

  5. Logan saw that rookie ace graphic the Guardians social media team made and took that personally

  6. Hot damn that was a game! I hate to say it but there were some really good defensive plays tonight by both teams. Was a fun game to watch!
