Go Dubs!
Im confused, is this replacing the playoffs?
More 🔥games!!!YES!!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻
This is some bs… like hey can I sit out… tryna win a championship over here 🤷
I live in las Vegas. I'm definitely going to the finals of this in season tournament in December 🔥
Yeah its a no for me dawg
NBA fan since 1990 9years old. The NBA has come a long way.🔥🔥🔥
Why not make it reklevant to the playoffs – maybe nba cup winner gets the home court over any team below top 2 without the cup etc
sus aka you ladies alright? skibidi toilet among us grimace shake!
yoooo this sounds sick, Cant wait
Soooooo, no more regular 82 games season? 🤔
Go China and Russia.. lets go!!!
No one cares about anything other than the actual playoffs.
Knicks
My heart is beating fast, I'm ready to watch
Aye I aint tryna be that guy but why tf they have pentagrams as illustrations of how this thing works, like either someone fucked up in marketing or the NBA are sum satanists
This video feels like a parody 😂
I still don't know why I care about some regular season games where rich people can win more money 🤷
I think it would've been better if they had a 3 on 3 tournament during all star weekend. This in season tournament looks unnecessary.
Great job by RJ
Just bring the Sonic’s backs
I wonder how the players will respond to this tourney. There definitely has to be monster incentives for the buy in of the players & their teams. Also curious about the level of intensity and how these players will approach the game.
This is so dumb!!! Does the winning team get something that'll help in th playoffs or at least do the better teams get higher pay the higher you make it in the tournament 🤔
looking forward to this one. Games that matter early in the season. I hope the players take it seriously
When is the NBA expansion
This is pretty cool
Why not playing the finals on Allstar weekend instead of the Allstar game?
so the prize is just a trophy? why in the world would anyone want to play extra games on top of an 82 game season for a trophy that has no meaning? was something left out? i’m just curious.
LETS GOOOOOO
What is the consensus on how NBA players feel about having to play & be prepared for more time out of the year for this? Don't they deserve a break? Yes, they for the most part love the game, but having their schedules is challenging already. I'd imagine that some players do not want to play this much. I do wonder.
This is a fantastic idea and hopefully will spawn some effort from players in the regular season.
A great addition would be a super cup at the beginning of the next season between previous season winners, the NBA Champion and the NBA Cup Champion. Learn from other places take the best and apply it. This is a great step forward.
Wtf
Dumb -stupid – and worthless
Pointless tournament. So you lose you go home? Id be ready to lose just get more rest as a true contender. No reason playing extra games for the in season tournament champion lol
great, my team is about to be disappointed twice.
Such a pointless tournament. No real contender is worried an “NBA Cup” lame AF. There’s no incentive but potential injury for playing extra games
How is this gonna affect the playoffs? Are we still having regular seasons? Will there be a seperate category for in season mvp? So many questions…
Still looks dope though…
🫣 J’Rome Kelz the PopStar is an MVP!📲
You know at first I believed most teams wouldnt care to win these games over any other regular season games but then I remembered the narratives. A night dedicated to these games means the media and fans will dedicate the next day to discussing performances in a "playoff" game. I already can see a season being stained by a narrative that a team performing poorly in these specific games and what it might be foreshadowing when it comes to the actual playoffs.
