Probably should have lost by more looking at the box score. 2 hits and 2 errors. Getting even 2 runs off that is a gift.
Defense was bad today, but the offense was GROSS. 3 total base runners. Nothing more to say.
Our team has top-tier defense; it is, when paired with our studly arms, the reason I think that we can be sneakily effective in the playoffs. And like our pitching, the defense is sometimes going to bend, nothing is 1.000. *BUT WHY THE FUCK DOES IT HAVE TO HAPPEN AGAINST THE CURRENT HOTTEST TEAM IN BASEBALL*?
