  1. None. Hence why I stopped watching 2 weeks ago. If only reddit feed would realize it’s now NFL giants season and stop filling the feed with crappy yankee nonsence

  2. I only continue to watch because I enjoy watching baseball and know when the season is over it will be another long winter without any games.

  3. Especially if they are behind by 2+ runs, they can’t come back to win. Cannot remember the last time.

Serious question: when was the last time they were behind by 2+ and came back to win?

  4. Cole cy young watch. Volpe development watch. Judge staying good watch. Mmmmm that’s about it. Hopefully they bring up more youth to watch.

  5. There are none. Vote with your wallets which in this case means your viewership. I’m done watching until cashman is gone with the only exception being if they got ohtani which I doubt

  6. I stopped watching after the trade deadline . My health/blood pressure comes first guys 🤣

  7. I no longer go out of my way to watch. If it’s on the background so be it I’ll watch for a little. However I won’t ever double think plans if it overlaps a game or if I’ve been lazy and need to hit the gym. The game is very very low on the priority list

  8. Cole. Volpe. Flier on Schmidt. Maybe they’ll eventually call up one of those untouchable prospects. Masochism.

  9. Watch Coles starts. Watch any kids that end up getting called up. Watch any other games for comic relief

  10. IDK; between MLB season pass and prime and peacock and regional sports pack and apple+ I have spent $400 to watch every game this season. Given that I have started to turn them out / off by the 5th inning; I need some return on my investment. Also; addiction.

  11. What’s frustrating is that you have to imagine Cashman’s ego won’t let him accept that the team may go under .500. I’ll bet he’ll pull out all the stops just to finish at .500 or above to keep his “no losing seasons” streak instead of embracing the losing season and playing the kids.

  12. I’ve kind of stopped TBH. There’s only so long you can watch this team make the same silly mistakes and just flat out stink at hitting a baseball. If they call some kids up, I’ll watch again just to see how they do.

  13. at this point i’m just waiting for football so i don’t have to watch this putrid excuse of a baseball team anymore this year

  14. There are none. I rather prep for fantasy football, do chores around the house. Here are some stats that will deter me away from watching this mess.

Last 15 days stats from mlb.com

Scored 56 runs. 9th in AL. Royals lead AL with 82!

We’ve given up the 4th most runs at 73.

In those two basic stats the teams were chasing – Astros, Jays, Seattle are ahead of us. We can’t score and pitching is struggling.

Base running mistakes, errors leading to runs, and no energy from the team.

  15. I’m a fan and I’ll always root for the Yankees. I love baseball, so I’ll keep watching and learning.

  16. I stopped watching after the marlins collapse. In Europe visiting family, so I aint gonna keep losing sleep over this crap. If i watch more baseball it will be postseason teams and our division rivals and that’s it. Yanks aren’t even fun to watch just misery after misery and the thing is we walk into the same bs every night expecting different results and get like 1 good game per month. If they call up the rooks I’ll think about it but thats it.

  17. I’m not. I don’t even get score alerts anymore. Or team news since I know none of it will be the key thing to cause serious change.

  18. I will watch just in case Sevy gets his stuff together…
But seriously Boone must be some sort of sadist to keep sending the boy out there….or…Sevy is a masochist for wanting to keep going out there.

  19. I watch because I still love baseball. Plus, experiencing the bad times makes the good times so much sweeter.

  20. Only good thing will hopefully be last of Boones tenure, guy is the Jeff Fisher of baseball

  21. Cause I can’t stop…

Seriously though only enjoying Judge, Cole, and Volpe. When (if) we finally promote a few kid, will give me another reason.

  22. Waiting for the old timers game with Jeter . Once that done I am dropping YES and Direct TV stream . I can not watch anymore . Thank goodness for little league and the MLB package. I watch other teams like the Braves , Orioles and Astros.

  23. Hope the team burns out, ends a few games under .500, and mass changes happen.

Also, watch to bet the under. Bet the under on innings, hits, runs. You have a good chance at winning money betting the under on the Yanks.

  24. I’m 64 and a life-long Yankee fan. The Yanks have had some extraordinary teams during my life, extraordinarily good and extraordinarily bad. But I’ve stood by them and always will. Even during their worst seasons, there were crazy good games and players to follow and cheer for. During average seasons, like this one, I remained hopeful. In their best years, I would swagger.

Those of you who are “fair weather” fans, watching and cheering the Yankees only when they win, should gtfo. The Yankees don’t need you and you don’t deserve them.

  25. Boredom. Slight masochistic tendencies mixed with a fraction of foolish hope and then all combined with some self loathing. This is my team!

  26. Here’s a reason. There’s 42 game left and the Yankees are 6.5 games out of the Wild Card. They could sweep the Red Soxs and take 2/3 from Washington and be right back in it. Cole can pretty much win the wildcard rnd himself. And then you’re looking at an ALDS loss. Only the Yankees could reach the ALDS and have a fanbase wearing bags on their heads like bunch of spoiled babies. Even the post-Brady Patriots fanbase, who have missed the playoffs 3/4 years, have been relatively tolerable.

Support your team through a couple down years. O’s fans did it for 18 years

  27. I’ve barely watched this dogshit team all year. Certainly not going to start now.
