  1. Trey seems kinda stiff to me. I think he should go for more of a big ben play style than mahomes or allen.

  2. I’m still a trey believer. Two more preseason games to clean up the mistakes. Let’s go

  3. Jordan Love has played in fewer games and is showing more potential but that’s only because

I don’t know but I know Trey is good

Although if Trey ever goes to another team then I will probably change my mind but until then he’s great or at least has shown glimpses of being great

  4. I still have the same concerns I have since the beginning. I remember Mariocco praising him as a smart QB and informing “He is all day looking at the iPad studying”. At the time I was like, man using the ipad doesn’t exactly tell me the guy is smart. I guess he was going for the study junkie alas Richard Sherman.

And then in all games I saw, I didn’t feel the guy could read the field consistently(and I didn’t realize he was missing the easy throws experience QBs would later report). He wasn’t ever in control, the offense wasn’t behind him.

Fast forward to last game and the feeling was even worst with the bad “pump fakes” and lack of timing throws. At this point he seems to be doubting himself.

I have a feeling Trey can be a good QB, but 49ers can’t allocate that window of play time he needs. I’m down to keeping him in the team but his salary is quite the problem, plus he could bloom elsewhere. Problem for us is, there is no market for him. He needs to be moved for free.

  5. Unfortunate that all this Trey talk is dominating all the commentary on the team this week. Given their performance on Sunday, there’s really not much else to talk about. But here’s to hoping we have a new narrative after this weekend…

  6. Steve Young and Kurt Warner, HOF QBs with the extremely sane takes. I hope everyone going crazy can take a page out of their book.
