  1. 6 out of the first 10 games are against playoff teams. 12 out of the first 20. Relatively even in that regard, should hopefully get to see a good idea of what the team could look like.

Of the “early contenders”, we play Nuggets once, Suns twice and whatever you want to call the Clippers once.

  2. why so many back to backs? like…

look at march’s national tv games 😂😂 damn near the whole month. lakeshow paying the nba bills

  3. Lakers and clippers both have 15 back to backs. Is that specific to LA or is that consistent across the league?

  4. Of our 15 B2Bs, 8 of them feature a team we’ll be in direct competition with in the standings on the second night, and that’s in addition to 2 of them having San Antonio on the 2nd night and 1 against Utah, who likely aren’t gonna be in the mix but you never know.

I know everyone always feels they got screwed by the schedule, but holy shit this is ridiculous.

  5. I like this year’s Christmas match-up. I only request an ass-kicking beat down on those green bastards!

  6. Cavs fan coming in peace. Extremely luckily but I’ll be in LA on April 6th when the Cavs play the Lakers and I want to get tickets. Anyone have any tips on ways to get tickets? Coming from out of town so I want to get them early. Do I have a decent shot of getting tickets during the general sale?

  7. In season tournament games not all being consecutive makes it feel less like a tournament, in my opinion

Sure it would be tough to schedule, but if you are putting this much effort into making it feel like games that matter, through the constant marketing and general talking head hype, there shouldn’t be breakage of for teams and their fans

Would have been more fun if that time period it would just be a bunch of games exclusively involving teams inside their respective groups. Obviously seeding is some aspect they wanted, but if you made it based on divisions then it would have reinforced some rivalries that you hear some people beg for, and those games with division rivals would hold more “weight”

I guess I technically am rooting for us to win, but it’s not gonna change the fact that I watch all of our games already and I always want to win. Don’t really care, just hoping that teams that go into the bonus/final matchup don’t get hurt or over exhaust themselves

    Go Lakers though

  8. We are getting WAY less Friday and Sunday home games than usual. Clippers are getting 21 Friday, Saturday and Sunday games. We only have 17. Total BS

  9. Some things I noticed. 15 B2B’s definitely not ideal but at least the travel for them aren’t crazy coast to coast flights. 5 of them are home B2B’s (1 of those @Clippers so just counting it). 2 of them are same state (CA/TX). Team gets to stay home for Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas so that’s nice. Grammy trip only has 1 B2B and isn’t the toughest stretch of games. Crazy stretch from 2/28-3/24 where they leave LA once to Sacramento. Could even take that back to 2/22 where they leave CA once to Phoenix.

  10. 40 nationally televised games. How many of those will also be on Spectrum? I need Bill and Stu. I don’t want to be stuck with shitty commentators for half of our games.

  11. That’s a tough east coast stretch on the road in late March. Six games in nine days including two back-to- backs.
