The White Sox have more batters with negative fWar than positive fWar this season

We currently have one batter above 1.0 fWar and that’s Luis Robert Jr who would be a MVP candidate if Shohei Ohtani didn’t exist.The “core” of Moncada, Vaughn, Eloy and Anderson have combined to produce -0.2fWar.
Luis Robert Jr deserves way better than this shitshow.

Well, they’re under .500 so I would expect their players are worse than average overall.
This is the real legacy of the Hahn era. Pitching has been fine, hitting has been consistently shitty
Could be a player development problem. Could also be a culture problem. Might even be a negligent scouting department that doesn’t put any emphasis on the character of an individual.
Idk but it’s probably all of those things and more.
