Isles Fan here. In terms of the New York NHL teams, Buffalo was always the runt of the litter, a team that sat in the lower standings of the league for the longest time, almost never being taken as a playoff contender seriously. Not this past season. Buffalo nearly snuck their way into the playoffs last season, not to mention their exceedingly exceptional performance throughout their entire season. My heart goes out to the Sabres organization right now. And maybe, just maybe, the Buffalo Sabres make it into the playoffs in the upcoming season… I'm hoping for it. Rest Easy Legend. 🕊🕊🕊
