  2. Regardless of the final drive, this team has a QB2 problem. And knowing the Bengals FO, they won’t address it. Browning will be our backup and if Joe goes down we are fucked. C’est la vie.

    On the bright side, Iosivas looks like a playmaker at WR5 or wherever he ends up on the depth chart. I would not be upset seeing him come into games this year.

  4. Backup QBs suck, but Browning definitely showed something throwing that pick then leading an 8-play 80-yard drive to take the lead.

  5. One of the best predictors of wr success is targets. It’s an earned stat. Iosivas has 10 in each game so far. Really looks like a steal.

  7. It’s really bothered me the entire Burrow years that we just don’t have an old vet or former starter. The team is built and can survive a small stretch with a more capable backup.

  8. I watched here and there while doing some things around the house…did Myles Murphy play? If so how’d he look? I never saw him

  9. I don’t get the Jake browning hate. He looked really good in my opinion. As a bengals fan for awhile I can’t expect more from a backup

  11. All in all, I’m very confident we’ll have another good year. If you told me five years ago that my main problem in the 2023 preseason would be our backup QB, I’d laugh in your face. And even that isn’t much of a problem. Preseason is always weird.

  12. Lucky miscommunication between Ridder and his receiver masked the fact the other teams starters just waltzed on down the field unopposed basically on our Dax-fence. We are so boned if Burrow doesn’t drop 40 every game.

  14. Remember folks, we looked like ass last preseason and nearly went back to the SB. Preseason doesn’t matter.
