  1. When KIM becomes a free agent, he must leave unconditionally as a team that recognizes his value. SD has a lot of high-priced long-term contracts, so it will never be able to offer a renewal contract that satisfies KIM. 🤔⚾🇰🇷

  2. The padres season is over. Get new managers and coaches in the off-season. We have the talent in the players but the inability for this team to develop players and create depth is embarrassing. Nothing wrong with Melvin and the stars despite underperforming cannot carry a team to the World Series. No matter how good they play the team needs more than 5 good players. If we could develop players the way LA does we would win something. LA develops and improves players. The stars can perform well but the back of the lineup is what makes the magic happen. Just look at the padres last year. We were able to win the NLCS because players like Trent girsham and Austin Nola were playing well. Even HS Kim who was well worse last year played a part. If you remember two hits in the 7th inning of game four came from Austin Nola and HS Kim. That’s what set the stage for machado and Soto.

  3. The Padres season is officially over. Between uninspired performances, ridiculous contracts, injuries, questionable bullpen management and unclutch ABs. Its a well deserved collapse. The Hosmer and Myers contracts should have been a lesson in why you don't bank on fastly aging talent. Could have gotten a slew of decent players in the roster for what you gave Bogarts. Their GM cursed this team for the next 5 years. Wasting the talents of H.S.K., Tatis and Soto. They had an out at the deadline and blew it. Good job to the Dbacks, good luck on getting a wildcard spot 👍. Good young roster, with a lot of fight.

  4. Padres have such good fan support but the fans are let down by the incompetent management. Mid-week games typically see 35,000 fans and weekend games 45,000. It is interesting to compare that to the rather empty stands you see in mid-week for so many other teams, even contenders. It is not as if there aren't other things in lovely San Diego they could be doing. I am old enough to have gone to Westgate Park as a kid when the Padres were minor league.

  5. I mean I’m not a fan of either team but instantly to start the game that’s a bad call he was safe that’s a steal. Review shows him safe why stick with the out call? It’s so bizarre

  6. Soto's head is just not in the game. Padres have a tendency to lay down and not fight hard when things go wrong. Arizona's pitcher was starting for the first time, and the Padres made him look like a Cy Young contender. Good grief.

  7. If you’re not a DH you should have to be good at baseball to play in the Majors. Juan Soto is a NIGHTMARE At playing baseball. He can hit a little yeah but he’s a joke at every other part of the game

  8. After today, the Padres postseason hopes are over. We needed to win this series and 9 of the next 12. I'd like for them to prove me wrong, but I just don't see it happening.
