  5. lol i am honestly surprised there is no MLB panel that reviews manipulative suspicious IL assignments like this… dudes out of options, pitching terribly, didnt leave a game hurt and just mysteriously gets an IL assignment? ok… kinda surprised the players union doesnt have a grievance with this sorta shit tbh.

  6. With this move it’s obvious AA wants Chirinos to be the 14th guy in September. I think it means Wright and Chavez will be at best rehab pitching in AAA till playoffs (or at least until we start moving guys around in the last week of the season for the playoffs).

  7. I genuinely hope for his sake this is a phantom IL and not an actual injury. He’s tried to help us, even if it hasn’t always gone too well.

    Wonder if we stick with Winans now until callups.

  21. I’m excited for Winans. He deserves a shot, he’s been great against AAA lineups this year.
