He’s not an official stat geek, but as someone who isn’t a fan, he had Sorokin #1 and Dobson/Pulock at 29/30 out of all defensemen in the league.
Kinda cool perspective as an outlier that we don’t just have crap in our lineup.

Funny though, Dobson I wouldn’t have in my top 60 defensemen probably. Pelech I’d have too 20 maybe. And he has Dobson and not Pelech. Love him, just a…different take lol
I think Pelech continues to be criminally underrated by nearly everyone that watches and analyzes hockey.

In a thread about DMen on r/hockey (or r/NHL can’t remember which) people were even putting Toews above him defensively (I’d be fine saying Toews is a better offensive defensemen, no issue).

I don’t know, Pelech is just so far underrated it sickens me. Hell even in this fan base. How many times do we see the whole, “Isles only win because of Sorokin,” statement but meanwhile the largest slump of the season is during the Pelech injury.
