  1. In all my years as a fan it often seems like “storylines” go against the Dodgers. So he’ll go 6.2IP, 3H, 1ER, 2BB, 4K.

But the Dodgers somehow get to the Cleveland bullpen and win the game

  2. Well in his short tenure with Cleveland he has pitched an average of five-ish innings so no, he will not be pitching 6-7 innings of good baseball. Oddly it seems every other game he has been pitching well so he could pitch five innings of good baseball. But I’m sure that’s just a coincidence.

  3. Look, Noah was bad as a Dodger, but props to him for eating some innings while he was here. During a long ass season, for a team that wants to make a deep playoff run, every contributor counts even if he wasn’t effective.

  4. I think he’ll pitch fine through 2-3 innings then 2nd time through lineup he gets eaten alive. Doubt he makes it 5 innings

  5. Knowing our luck, he pitches 7 innings, 2 or fewer runs allowed. We win with like 6 runs off their bullpen in the 8th or later.

  6. I know he ain’t a dodger anymore but I hope he does decent, I just hope we beat him by one run so he gets a little better

  7. FWIW, all of Syndergaard’s advanced stats have been slightly worse since going to Cleveland.

  8. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if Syndergaard throws a no-hitter against us.

  9. I hope we get a **W** to make up for his time on the mound for us this season.

I don’t hold any animosity for him like others do but I would like at least one win back. TBH I was hoping he’d work out. The Dodgers mad scientists would flip some blown circuit in him and BAM he’s a hellacious #3 for us… but these Dodger gambles often don’t pan out.

  10. Magically throws 100MPH again and has an inning or two of pure gasoline making us look like fools…. Then the bottom falls off and we score like 7 in an inning on him and win 13-2

  11. I have the displeasure of also being a Guards fan, and unless the offense decides to take a day off tomorrow, you can expect to be watching 4-5 innings of BP. Likely more as our bullpen isn’t great, despite Clase supposedly being one of the best closers.

  12. I’d say he goes 6IP 3ER 4BB 5K.

Which is worse than the guaranteed no-hitter that Ryan Weathers is about to throw for Miami in San Diego 😂😂😂

  13. Knowing the baseball gods’ love of irony. I’m fully expecting a perfect game by Thor.
