[Nelson] With the Marlins this year, Dylan Floro had a .397 BABIP, contributing to a 4.54 ERA despite a 2.76 FIP. The Twins acquired him hoping his luck would turn around. Since the trade: .500 BABIP (!!!), 2.43 FIP, 7.56 ERA

  1. The first 2 balls were hit hard off him yesterday. The rest were flubbers to the fullest extent and came with a ton of “luck”, that’s a fact. The inning could have ended with a DP in a couple situations with minimal damage early in his outing but didn’t happen due to defensive alignment and flub-luck.

But because it’s Twins Reddit and people like to throw hands in every situation and there is no in between might as well DFA and move anybody else into that spot or something to that effect I’m sure. Oh and Falvey this and Rocco that, almost forgot.

  2. It has come to the point where I would prefer we don’t trade for a RP because it has rarely gone well…. Except Sergio Romo and I will forever remember that fun.

  3. I just continue to wonder why when we have Sands for long relief he’s like the third pitcher brought in on relief.
