San Jose Sharks – Concept Jersey Set

  1. I’m a graphic and sports designer creating a series of new / revised jersey sets for each NHL team.

The Sharks recent rebrand, I think, was a great success. However, I felt that small details could be tweaked to make them a bit more bold.

The home jersey reintroduces a hint of gunmetal gray back to the color scheme. The away maintains the same sleeve pattern, and teal returns to the bottom cuffs as it was in their inaugural season. The first alternate is simply a black version of the new jersey pattern.

The second alternate is an all new design featuring the team’s current shoulder patch with a vibrant edit. The jersey’s primary sand color and gradated sleeves are reminiscent of waves on the shore.

If you’re interested in seeing the rest of the designs, they can be found on my Reddit and Instagram pages.

I appreciate all feedback, so let me know what you think! Hope you enjoy it

  2. A LOT better than some of the ones posted recently on this sub. I like the touch of gray, not going overboard. I like the evolves, these expand upon them.

  3. Cool concepts! Not sure I’d like the upper white/lower teal sleeves on the Away jersey personally. The cream one is good looking and so is the black/stealth alternate!

  4. They all look great, but the lower right would be a “here, take my money” jersey for sure.

  5. Love the cream one!! Gradient is awesome. Reminds me of the slight gradient the kraken and firebird have but better

  6. That cream jersey is gorgeous, I’m such a fan of the gradient teal. Would love to see a real one like that someday.

  7. Love them! These are the best I’ve seen by far. The teal, white, and black are perfection. I’d change nothing and would be thrilled to see the team adopt these designs. On the cream jersey, the only thing I might try is less shades in the gradient. Maybe after the white stripe just three shades of teal? In the chest logo you have the really light blue, a medium teal, then the dark teal of the fin…maybe those three? That’s all I would consider, everything else is so, so good!
