It’s a damned shame about this man. I’m still pretty upset at Oklahoma State for enabling his problems and not pushing him to get help. The guy had so much talent, and from just a fucking human perspective, his story is a sad one.
Genuinely consider him the best player we’ve ever had in terms of pure on-field talent. Not Tony Boselli, not Fred Taylor or Jimmy Smith. This guy. He was just so far ahead of anyone else on the field. If he didn’t have his alcohol issues he’d have been a first ballot Hall of Famer.
Instant edit: Trevor Lawrence might take that title soon though.
