Hopefully he’s back by week 18 when he gets his first NFL start after we’ve clinched a playoff spot
Not surprised to hear them talk about taking it slow with Hendon. We didn’t rush Jamo onto the field while he was recovering from his injury, so I assumed that we would do the same with Hendon.
One we got Teddy it pretty much confirmed we were red shirting Hooker. No shock there
I don’t think Hooker is supposed to take Goff’s place and force him out before we win a couple of really cool playoff games and get our shot on the big stage. I feel like when this present team is all said and done, Hooker is going to be the hyper experienced super competent vet that plays in front of our chosen one to play QB at pick number 19 or so whenever we pick our superstar.
I am so excited to see him eventually get on the field. My hope is we have a few games late in the season where he can come in for garbage time.
He was always going to need a redshirt year anyway, hopefully he can be healthy next year and show us his potential that gave him a Heisman worthy season
