Pretty surprising. Maybe they really like Tavierre Thomas
Maybe King didnt want to be buried in the depth chart and he wanted out? He is capable of playing starters minutes. Regardless i really enjoyed having him here for the last two years.
My guess is that they see more upside on someone like Cam Dantzler who’s 4 years younger
Our second line of DB’s had a great day yesterday so guess that played into it.
Damn, this is definitely a surprise. Does he really have no trade value? Even a conditional 7th? Wonder who we throw in the slot over him, I’m not sure Shaq Griffin has ever played there.

He’s starter quality and was a Top 5 nickel the last two years.
Tavierre Thomas is good but not as good. Dantzler was released from the worst secondary in football last year.
