I don’t know if anyone has some insight but I listen to Locked on Bengals and James Rapien has said a bunch of times that Drew Sample is a stone cold lock for the roster.

Why? His blocking has always been overrated, and is a literal zero in pass catching. Like why does he get to be a “lock” on a championship level roster? What am I missing?
I kind of had a feeling Trent Taylor would be cut because of the addition of Chuck Sizzle and Yoshi.
After cutting Allan George and Raymond Johnson, I reallllllly hope it’s because we’re making room to pick up some pieces… otherwise I realllllly don’t get some of these moves? But we’ll see!

Even the Bengals keep their 53-man roster close to the vest. It’s 3:48pm on cut-down day and we only have a few names so far.
