My favorite Isles goaltender of my lifetime until Sorokin arrived. There was something about still using his red gear while our typical basement team started 11-1-1 that was magical.
Though Fichaud had the best setup.
Too young to have seen Billy Smith or Chico.
Ozzy was awesome, he really had an aw shucks vibe about himself and you couldn’t help but cheer for the guy. Always performed his best under pressure. Didn’t matter if he looked like crap at game 82 of the season, game one of the playoffs he was rock solid. Him and Hasek were my favorite two goalies growing up.
I always liked osgood thought he was one of the best for his time in the nhl
