  1. Hope it gets exposed about who asked why we haven’t paid JT yet. Ballard’s already answered that in the past a million times. We won four games, we have a new scheme, new HC, new OC, was injured several times. Ain’t that hard to understand why we haven’t.

  2. Watching this presser clearly showed one thing quite emphatically about any contract re-negotiations…

Ballard has put the team on notice this season. He was very emphatic with his answer to the last question that they won 4 games last year, and repeated it, lifting his brow.

If you want to see some player moves, wait until the end of this season and next spring. I’m betting some surprises are in store.

  3. He also confirmed the ankle is still injured. Confirming that the injury/surgery was worse than expected/reported. Who’s paying a one-legged running back?

  4. Also we don’t need to fuckin pay him today. He still has a year left and then we’ll extend him at the end of the season if all is good or otherwise negotiate with him as a FA.

  5. At least Ballard’s upfront and honest and he’s not wrong. JT wanting to be paid on the same level as a McCaffrey or Kamara when JT isn’t as dynamic catching the ball as those guys and add in the fact with 1 great year, 1 average and 1 below average the entirety of his resume he’s not in my opinion worth as much as Derrick Henry cause he’s nothing if not consistent so without having the ability to show your just as good as those guys it’s kinda crazy to ask to be paid as much or more than them.

The Colts insane asking price in a trade was more about showing JT he plays in the NFL not the NBA where players seemingly have the upper hand and being a inconsistent one dimensional RB isn’t the type of player who makes the most or as much as the RB’s who are as dangerous catching the ball as running it or the only 1 dimensional RB who’s year in year out one of the leading rushers rather than really trying to move him and if they found someone crazy enough to pay the price great, either way it was a win, win for the Colts it also showed JT if he can ask for what seems to be a crazy extension then the Colts can ask for a crazy return in a trade.

  6. I wouldn’t mind winning only 4 again one more year for MHjr then draft another stud Rb in the 2nd or 3rd round and them and AR being the scariest Qb Wr Rb trio in the league, boom Super Bowl baby haha
