GM Roseman Motivated CB Ricks to Make 53-Man Roster

Howie the Goat fucking knew from the moment this kid was born that he would make the 53 this year. When Ricks was holding his on vs Pittman, I got really excited. This is an UDFA rookie holding his own vs a pretty decent receiver immediately coming into the league.

What I think is really cool is having 3 undrafted cbs on the roster. These guys are gritty and determined to get a spot. Eagles have shown they are going to play the best guys regardless of position if they deserve it. I love seeing guys like Blankenship get a shot and run with it. Looks like our secondary of the future is going to undrafted guys and I’m pretty excited
Really wonder if something happened that screwed up his testing because his film was good in college but he tested terribly
Getting quality CB play from a UDFA is such a bonus that it cannot be overstated. If Smith, Brown and Ringo live up to their potential (not worried about Carter or Steen) and Tanner can give us quality backup QB play, this could be the Eagles best draft class ever. Throw in Ricks and Moro and we are all gas no brakes
Would love for him to be Him but I’m just not ready to hop back on the “this no-name/small-name rookie / UDFA is HIM!” train.
I know Ricks was once thought of as a high pick yada yada but he has some concerns. Big fan of his energy tho so idk maybe he’s him, but rn I’m probably most excited for Sydney Brown in this regard. He will either be amazing or a “dirty” Sendejo type…pls not the latter
