Seriously though. You want an all-time accolade? Bring a championship to Minnesota. Lebron’s legacy status went up astronomically after that Cleveland championship…their ONLY CHAMPIONSHIP. He even had me second guessing myself after 2016. Like, maybe he is the Goat…And like If Garnett wins in ’04, I think he’s seen as better than Duncan.
So yeah, winning a chip for these small markets is a BIG deal for a league that damn near worships its most “adorned” players.
