  1. I’m just here to thank Dusty for allowing us the opportunity to get swept by the 2023 Yankees. We truly couldn’t have done it without him 🙏

  2. What do we do? We can’t win a game at home, we can’t hit at home and the lineups change every game for some stupid ass reason? We are allergic to first and winning at home. Kill me. I’m getting drunk.

  3. Crusty Baker is the biggest fraud in baseball! FIRE THIS CON MAN ALREADY BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!!!

  4. Welp next series has a huge impact on if we make the playoffs. So tired of us being ass at home

  5. Good thing we had all that extra defense in centerfield and all those intangibles behind the plate. Didn’t at all need extra bats in the lineup today.

  6. Maybe the strategy is to play at home the least amount possible in the playoffs. So winning the division isn’t helpful to us. Idk I’m all out of ideas/excuses.

  7. What’s it gonna take for this team to wake up?

Post season better be a whole different story or its gonna be over quick

  8. Of all players to have actually done well today, it was fucking CRISTIAN JAVIER. WE WASTED JAVI’S FIRST QS IN A MONTH.

    Genuinely pathetic.

  9. Yayy for Chas being benched a day after he was pinch hit for by a guy who is barely an MLB player, during a clutch AB, and yay for Diaz being benched a day after he hits his franchise record 20th HR as a catcher, in a game that would assure a sweep if we lost. In a close division race. Thank you dusty, thank you

  10. -7 run differential at home now. One of the top teams on the road (Astros) vs one of the top teams at home (Rangers). I just hope they make it competitive…

  11. I still can’t believe the dumbass manager said “the city will thank me later, the fans will thank me later”, you’ve accomplished nothing as a manager in however many years, what a cocky prick. We were fooled to think he was a nice guy. He needs some humble pie. And as sad as it would be to miss the playoffs or exit after first round, it may just be the price we gotta pay.

  12. I’m absolutely shocked that the lineup with multiple black holes in it only scored one run.

Rome needs to ask point blank what the fuck is Dusty’s problem with Chas, because it’s very obviously personal. Idk if it’s something Chas did or said, or even if he’s just that petty when being told to start him more, but he needs to cut it the fuck out.

At least look like you give a shit Dusty, especially when Yordan went down. Not at least going out there to check on your player is inexcusable. I’m not shocked that the team has no fight, since our manager has already checked out.

What the fuck do we even have scouting and coaches for? We obviously don’t scout opposing pitchers unless they’re considered “good”, and we swing at shit when we’re down to start a rally. Dusty has been on record saying he encourages swinging at the first pitch, it’s the coaches jobs to tell the players to disregard that.

Yes, I said that I wasn’t gonna follow the games, but it’s like a train wreck, I just can’t look away. Just take one against Texas. I don’t care if we lose the series, I don’t care if it means we miss the playoffs, just get the damn silver boot.

  13. What the actual fuck is wrong with this team at home? Overconfidence? Getting too comfortable? We were a .680 team at home last year.

  14. I spent the day painting my fence and totally missed this game.

Apparently I didn’t miss much. How sad.

  15. Well that sucked ass. Dusty hasn’t helped but this offense has been Jekyll and Hyde all season long. Completely dominant one series and non-existent the next. Pretty frustrating.

  16. We could have still won the WS last year with a cardboard cutout of Dusty as our manager. That team was something special and carried Dusty to his first WS win as a manager.

  17. God I can only hope that Dusty gets cooked at the post game interview this is so garbage. Team looks lost, Dusty is managing like it’s Spring Training. Blue Jays are right behind us for the last WC spot. We can’t keep playing scrubs and just coast to the postseason. Playoffs start now, have a sense of urgency for Christ’s sake.

  18. And dusty expects the city to thank him. It’s a fucking horror to watch these games.

  19. I skipped a lot of 2020 and this sure feels like 2020 where they somehow limped into playoffs and made a run. This time I’m not so sure they can. I don’t know. I’m disappointed at the whole team in general in addition to Dusty. It feels like no one has any urgency and stepping up, and it’s been that way all year

  20. This is one of the least clutch teams we’ve had in recent memory. This team will not make the playoffs unless it’s a last ditch wildcard spot. Fire Dusty and that’d be a step in the right direction

  21. Imagine not starting your best lineup in the last month of baseball. I literally can’t fathom it, and it’s happening.

  22. Quick question, what the fuck is going on with our team? I’ve been working all weekend and have only seen the final score for each game. How do we get swept by the worst team in the AL East?
