I have an idea. Don’t pay Nick Bosa yet so he doesn’t play week 1. Then Tomlin will have wasted his time preparing for a guy who isn’t even going to play!

The Bosa situation is starting to piss me off. I’m all for players getting paid but fucking come on, man… do you want max cash, or a ring? Normally they’re not mutually exclusive but he’s pushing the boundary.
There’s been a lot of hype around the Steelers based off of preseason games. I am interested in seeing how that goes this year. That’s said …we should be able to win this game even with Bosa and Kittle missing…because we are just better…all we have to do is play at our level.
They’d be pretty damn stupid if they didn’t. and it only helps if they practice and prep to play against the best. that goes for any team
Spread rumor that niners are forfeiting due to “internal issues” then show up Sunday with Mike Shanahan as head coach.

It’s a terrible thing to consider, but if Purdy were to get hurt prior to Bosa signing, I think it would reduce Bosa’s leverage given the likelihood that they’d effectively be out of title contention.
I dont know much about this, but isn’t showing up and practicing with your team more important than a shit tonne of money?
I mean even if the deal didn’t end up being what Bosa wanted its still a shit tonne of money.
I would have thought playing on a Super Bowl potential team and preparing for the season with your close friends / teammates would always be the most important thing.
I get pissy seeing there’s been no progress but that’s all my selfish wants for my team to win. Don’t blame him for trying to get as much money as possible. Could be he has hopes for ending his career early, so maybe when he’s 58 he can still remember everyone’s name at Xmas, still jog, not be addicted to pain killers because his whole body is spent etc I just hope it’s not because he wants “highest paid D player” Those titles only last for like a year or 2 anyway
