  1. This team might be frustrating all year but always remember that Texas will always be Toronto’s bitch.

  2. On the A’s broadcast, Dave Stewart before the game said he thinks we’ll make the playoffs. He was either being tentative, or defensive of his pre-season prediction, but he ended on a firm prediction that we will make the postseason.

These guys love Chris Bassitt (recently a cherished weapon of the gold&green). Especially after the blowout inning, they were borderline delighted to rave about his masterful stuff. Respectful comments throughout but colour guy is especially fond of Kiermaier and Kirk; spent a whole early half-inning (where AK was eventually stranded) raving about him and what he means to young ballers who don’t have that typical runway physique…

Same guy (I think, I’m too impaired to be truly credible though) said we have a good chance to win the World Series. bc we’re deeply stacked with so much talent that, barring extraordinary bad luck or slumpishness, ought to be terminally dangerous.

My words, but I do very genuinely get the feeling the A’s crew are rooting for us to rudely dispatch SEA or HOU in a playoff series. Which yknow hell fucken yeah

  3. Crazy to think a week ago tonight, the Jays were 3.5 games out of a wild card spot, shows you how crazy a month we are in for.

  4. Don’t look now, but we’re also only half a game back of the Mariners. They’re looking catchable too.

  5. I want you to put the word out there, that we back up. You understand me? **WE BACK UP.**

  6. TOR IP H R ER BB SO P-S ERA

    Bassitt 8.0 7 1 1 0 7 97-66 3.69

    Francis 1.0 0 0 0 0 3 14-10 1.69

    Nice

  7. Step 1. sign the Hound Dog himself

Step 2. win the love of all local dogs in the ballpark

    Step 3. ???

Step 4. win the world series

  8. Well.

that was a fun game to watch, even if it was frustrating as all get out in the first few innings.

    Keep it going!
