  1. Was really pretty happy with how the defense played last night. Zone got ate up a little bit and Justin Reid played a pretty not good game. But very solid overall.

  2. Upset with the loss, but damn people really go nuts. Last meaningful game we played in before last night was the SB that we won.

Yea WR room looked AWFUL last night and Toney had an all-time bad game. Think we can wait a little longer before we start freaking out though.

We lost to the Colts last year and looked totally out of sorts that game as well. Even great teams can put in terrible performances, let’s just hope that was ours for this season.

  3. The way I see it lads this is this years colts game just came a few weeks early, I think we will be fine especially once Kelce is back

  4. Chiefs gain 1 yard, with Pacheco and one of the best interior lines in football challenge: *Impossible*

  5. Of all Toney’s issues, drops really aren’t the one I am concerned about going further into the season. I do wish they’d figure their shit out on short yardage. There’s no reason that I should feel more comfortable on 3&17 than X&1.

  6. Saw a stat that said the Lions only played man coverage 8.5% of the game yesterday when they played the most man coverage out of any team last year. Knowing this and how Patrick had all day to throw most dropbacks and no one was consistently open, it is a massive failure by our offensive coaching staff to exploit that. Our promised zonebeater WRs were nonexistent. We also didn’t even target the guys who were actually catching balls in the second half hardly at all: MVS, Rice, and Ross. I cannot fathom why our playcalling staff fumbled that game like that. Horrendous offensive coaching display and I hope this wakes them the fuck up. We had multiple chances to put that game away or take the lead and they blew it.

Defense showed promise without CJ and Omenihu except covering the middle of he field. That 3rd and 12 conversation on the Lions’ final TD drive should have been a sack, pick, or deflection. The only times the Lions scored were after a big conversation deep in their own territory.

I don’t know what else to say about this dogshit game. We better be ready for Jacksonville in their house.

  7. We can be upset with the loss, we are not in jeopardy though. Bengals started the last season with 4 straight losses. you have bad games and I guarantee that the dropped passes issue will be fixed. We have had these issues in 2021 and again by game 2 there were way less dropped passes.

  8. For our WR not showing up I’m surprised we managed 20 points. Of course the Lions are letting it get to their head already. A lot needs to happen in the WR room. We cannot rely on 1-2 people to win games. So many perfect passes dropped. We really lost to ourselves.
