  1. So it is possible to win a stress free game

God I needed this, a nice calm win

Sweep tomorrow and next series please

  2. Fall Springer is here he’s been on a roll (Springtember ad people are calling it)

What a slide by Vladdy to get the run in his haters have been quiet lately

So happy to see run support for Gausman, He’s the Jays ace for a reason
    (what a game from him)

  3. Seattle Tampa commentators are still chewing that Kirby bone. Hope they’ll keep this up for the rest of the month

  4. If they can take 3/4 from Texas they’re in great shape. Even maybe 2/4 might do it with how Texas has been playing lately

  5. LETS FUCKING GO!!!

Back to back wins when they are needed most

And shoutout to KC out here making history (not good history but still), good on them, they will be remembered

  6. Kevin Gausman today:

    **8.0 IP, 1 ER, 1 BB, 10 K**

OUR ACE! WE’RE SO LUCKY TO HAVE HIM ON THIS TEAM.

Oh and how can I forget GEORGE SPRINGER. 2 home runs on the day, including 4 RBI’s.

Time to go for the sweep tomorrow! 🧹

  7. Varsho catch, Vladdy slide, and Vladdy tag, Massey-Witt play. Game full of wow moments. Good win. Gausman nasty.

  8. 4 series wins in a row now, even though it’s against weaker opposition, winning series in September is never easy. The team’s gelling at the right time and we’re in for a treat if they can carry that into the postseason.

  9. Gausman gets a haircut, goes 8 innings and gets 10 strikeouts.

My haircuts are never that impactful.

  10. Anyone catch Bassit being generally mischievous at the end there? Stroking Chapmans injured digit must have got a few people (not naming any names) hot and bothered

  11. I was never worried about this game

you could see that Gausman was dealing

    I like it.

    more of this, pls.

  12. Seriously, just tell Caleb to stay home. Madison has better takes and doesn’t say stupid shit just for the sake of saying stupid shit.

  13. George Springer, Kevin Gausman, and I’m putting Varsho on there for that unreal catch off the wall.

  14. doing what they should do against the royals. do it again tomorrow. gonna need this same energy against the rangers

  15. My favorite kinds of games are the ones where I can’t decide who was the game MVP because so many people were heroes.

    * Gaus throwing 8 innings of 2-hit, 1-run ball. He had 10 strikeouts today and we hardly noticed

    * Springer going 3-for-4 with a pair of home runs and a megawatt smile

    * Vladdy proving himself clutch at the plate, in the field, and on the basepaths

hell yeah, that was fun. let’s do it again

edit: and Varsho! That incredible catch plus a key hit that [sent Kirk into maximum warp](https://i.imgur.com/7oqG4Rj.png)

oh: [this dragonfly was kinda random but very cool](https://i.imgur.com/ogEfsBp.png), glad we got to see that

  16. Great game today, phenomenal outing by the gas man and the offense showed up today

We try to avoid the Montoyo sweep tomorrow!

  17. I’m convinced Gaus sacrificed his hair to the baseball demons to finally get run support in his outing

  18. Let’s give credit where it’s due, that was a hell of a hustle play by Vladdy on the Biggio double. That kind of play gets the rest of the team fired up, and we’re going to need it if we make any kind of real playoff run.

  19. Ahhh, a relaxing win and a quick one at that. Good vibes today! Georgie having a big day and bigger smile will always make for a good day.

  20. Though I’m generally pretty optimistic, even I got quite down when they hit a spot where they were 3 games out. I didn’t see them having much more than a coin flip’s chance at that point.

While not as doomery an opinion as many here, it didn’t feel great. Glad to see the coin toss may be landing on ‘playoffs’

  21. Hell of a game by Gausman. Strong game by Vlad, great slide at home to avoid the tag and great tag on the off target throw. One thing that stood out for him was the base hit on the hanging curve ball. Last year that was a second deck HR. He’s still just a bit off at the plate.

Two Springer dingers just what the Doctor ordered for a stress free win.
