Refs “let the boys play” a bit too much on this one.

The second image…. seriously? How can you not call that?

They let a lot of shit go. Embarrassing crew.
He held on his way to pass interference 😂 I’ve never seen that. And saints fans are saying fuck the refs even though they spotted them 20 points.
They were at least consistent with their no calls on plays like this on both sides. The fumble was really the only game changing miscall they made
It was a horribly officiated game. I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but I think the refs knew it too hence why both teams got away with calls today. We got screwed more though.
This one was wild too. I’d note how open chig was but it’s probably not relevant bc tannehill would’ve wound up throwing it off vrabels head.
To the letter of the rule, yes, this is a pass interference penalty. But this usually goes uncalled when the ball is brutally under thrown and both players stop running, turn around, and look up just waiting for it to come down. It’s really a jump ball scenario at that point and both players are leveraging for the ball.
If this exact motion happens but the ball lands 12 yards further, it’s a call all day.
Man I thought the no cal DPI’s were the worst offender. Dhop was getting crushed every time he tried to catch the ball. It was egregious. They didn’t just miss calls for us they missed calls against us.
By the way Tannehill def let that second ball fly thinking it would be a DPI moore was covered so tight if he had to stop it should be auto DPI just like it has been against our D for years. Wentz spammed the move against us.
Saints fan here. Y’all got the worse end of bad calls for sure.
This shouldn’t have even mattered bc chig was about to be wide open, but Tannehill missed the read

God Chig is so fucking open
The blown fumble call not getting reversed after week 18 last year is unreal.
It was embarrassing both ways. The refs looked like they were in their first game!
