Cj threw for more yards than Bryce & Richardson while having 3 starting o-line out and a backups back up . He showed precision and poise in crucial times and didn’t make any huge mistakes given all the pressures by the ravens defense. I think him playing his first game against a team like the ravens will benefit a lot in the next few weeks , it was a challenge but just wait until he gets more in the groove and the o-line situation is figured out . In his post game conference he took the blame for a lot of the mistakes even though some were not on him at all . This guy is the definition of a true leader and I believe in him all the way , it’s no surprise or wonder why he was chosen to be a team captain as a rookie . FOR ALL YOU DAVIS MILLS RIDERS SUCK ON IT !!!! Mills would’ve been sacked 12 times today if he was out there Cj used his legs majority of the time to escape big sacks mills would’ve curled up like always !!! This guy is our STARTER AND WILL LEAD US TO THE PROMISE LAND ⭐️ ‼️‼️🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

I love this post, my thoughts exactly. Considering the circumstances there were stellar stats! Also if you take out the 1st few drives where CJ was still finding his grooves and shaking off the rookie nerves he did even better. CJ showed a remarkable ability to adapt and improve in a difficult game. He had multiple things holding him back today and still impressed. He took all the blame on him, even for stuff that wasn’t his fault. He’s a good young guy and he has strong moral character (unlike a certain former Texans QB I know). He’s a born leader. Sky is the limit for CJ, he’s gonna be a star!
Mills truthers still exist??
Hit it right on the target. CJ reminds me of everything good that WAS the Deshaun Watson we knew and loved and now I can see that that’s the type of play style CJ wants to mimic. Even though I’d much rather him be safety with the ball and take less amount of sacks that he did, all those mistakes should be cleaned up in the future.
If we had our starting oline all healthy, I’d reckon we’d be 1-0 right now off to a great start on the season. Honestly can’t be upset about the that performance considering the circumstances.
I would also argue that we played the best defense out of the three.
