5. Out of everyone on the team here, I think he was the only choice that makes the most sense. Petey is fine as a runner-up, but his patience with the media just wouldn’t work long term. Also, his contract status does play into it. I rather he focus on his offense and selke abilities. Then we have Miller, who may be the loudest in the room and sometimes that works, but his erratic behavior wouldn’t cut it for a young team. He can’t be yelling at Delia like that, for example. And finally, Demko. Well he’s a goalie and we already tried that with a HHOF. It doesn’t work nearly as well in practice.
