  1. I don’t get the low grade for Hunter, especially the pass rush. He seemed to be rubbing elbows with the QB the majority of the day.

  2. Didn’t Whitley get a sack on his only snap – meanwhile 38 grade? Feels a little unfair, but I didn’t see the replay.
Edit: my bad he was the dude who should’ve had a sack but totally wiffed, I stand corrected

  3. What the hell didn’t they like from darrisaw? Every highlight I see on Twitter he chucked someone to the ground, at least once it was somebody else’s guy and then he went back to blocking his own guy

  4. I’m liking this 2023 draft class so far! Hopefully they can make up for the disaster of the 2022

  5. Hunter got held a good 5 or 6 times with no call and was pressuring the QB consistently regardless. I do not understand his low grade here.

  6. So they’re saying Kirk wasn’t the problem. It was our entire interior Oline, Ham, Mattison, and KJ.

Maybe time for Addison to try #2 WR. Ham and Mattison are a result of no blocking. Mattison struggled in pass protection though

  7. No huge surprises here. I didn’t realize Blackmon only had 15 defensive snaps though, we must have ran more 3 safety looks than 3 CB.

So happy O’Neill is a stud still, that was a question mark for me coming into the year. Week 1 showed that we need to end the Ingram experience ASAP, dude is not only bad but causes the weirdest shit to happen to Kirk that no one else seems to do.

Also Schlottmann actually held up pretty well according to this and he didn’t stand out with any glaring issues after that first series (I think one of the false starts was on him not snapping the ball, though they called it on O’neill).

  8. Bynum had himself a game.

I can’t imagine there’s any way we keep him next year even if Harrison Smith hangs it up, but hopefully he continues to play well enough to get a big contract somewhere else and we can get a nice comp pick when he leaves.

edit: Nevermind, I thought he was in a contract year.

  9. Cine is going to have a really hard time seeing the field at all this year. Bynum and Mettalus look great and even Theo Jackson got the one sub-package S snap instead of Cine. Safety position is stacked.

Marcus Davenport needs to be good, but somehow hsn’t been mentioned all off-season and then followed his career long trend of missing time last weekend. Wonnum and Pat Jones aint it.

Blackmon, Pace Jr., and Addison look like the truth though.

  10. Troy Dye took two run defense snaps; decent rush defense and decent tackle grade. Decent over all grade.

Asamoah took one run defense snap and one coverage snap (which in itself is an issue). Rush and tackle grade same or better to Dye’s, coverage grade similar to most of the middle guys like Evans, Smith, Murphy, Jackson’s one snap, yet his total defensive grade is putrid.

Does anyone know how they actually aggregate the defensive grade? I guess I don’t get it, unless limited sample size just makes it weird.

  11. Happy about Schlottmann. If he can stay solid and we can find anyone but Ingram especially someone that can run block I would be happy with our O-Line going forward.

Having 2 great Tackles really helps
