  1. Nice to see somebody who knows what they’re talking about acknowledge Purdy’s greatness. The guy had barely anything bad to say about him. Even admitted he was nitpicking in the video. Purdy is THAT DUDE

  2. That second TD to Aiyuk was legit. I don’t think I’ve seen a niners QB make that throw in decades

  3. Watching this and the lance videos was night and day. JT was clearly exasperated watching Lance make small mistakes. He couldn’t stop showering Purdy with praise here.

We got ourselves a QB y’all.

  4. It really can’t be understated how smart Brock is. The stuff he is seeing is legit stuff only 5-6 QBs can see.

    Incredible.

  5. Purdy has improved in terms of throwing whilst going left.
That was a bit of a weakness at times last year but now we know he was playing through an injury to the ribs in that span.

That pass to Deebo where he escapes a free rushing Fitzpatrick and then aligns his hips and shoulders mid stride and finds Deebo is an area I wanted to see him get better at amd he showed that

That pass to Aiyuk may be his 2nd best throw as a Niners so far( behind the greatest incompletion in Niner history vs Seattle last yr in the WC)

I Was impressed. That said hopefully McKivitz grows as the season goes.

  6. I like how people would use the line, “how would Brock do if hes made to throw outside the numbers.” Game one of the season dude just eviscerates the Pittsburg secondary and their defense.

  7. Couple things stood out to me about this video:

    1. It’s not a coincidence that Kyle’s QBs get injured a lot.
    2. The right side of the line, particularly McKivitz, is a problem. Yeah, it was Watt, but the problem isn’t new and they still have to face Parsons, Garrett, and Donald twice.

  8. Now I have to watch Aiyuk highlights to see if he’s often jumping for no reason to catch balls with his chest.
