  1. Quick STL update – technically the Cubs, Brewers, and Cards could finish with 81 wins apiece – this is never in a million years going to happen – and I didn’t care to investigate their records against each other to determine the tiebreaker. (I know it will not matter but it’s always fun to see the Cardinals get eliminated).

Tl;dr – Cardinals might have a 3-team tiebreaker scenario to win the NLC yet, but will disappear off of this list with ANY MIL, CHC win / STL loss now

  2. Despite it looks like a 60/40 split Fangraphs has the mathematical odds of us winning the division at 90%

That’s based on not every game being a coin flip and we shall win a bit more than our fair share.

We have 18 games and even if we go .500 the Cubs need 4 more wins. They only have 16 games left. They need to go 11-5 and win the tiebreaker, I think.

If we win 10 of our last 18 they need 12-4 and a series win over us.

  3. I’m new to this chart but have been watching it the last few days. Can you explain the white part? Thanks
