Most important series of the year, at home, against a team in a huge freefall coming in and we are outscored 26-7 in the first 3 games
Just a devastating feeling
In the 9 games since we left Coors Field, the Jays have scored a grand total of three runs in the first 3 innings of their games. 6 of those games were against the two worst teams in the league mind you.
The bats are totally unprepared and ice cold to start every single game. What are the hitting coaches doing?
Montgomery had an ERA of like 11 in his 2 previous starts and this limpdick ass team for 4 hits off of him. Fucking pathetic.
To all the people complaining online and in the media about the low attendance numbers this series…
Why spend money on a team that doesn’t show up?
Only so much “flushing” you can do before the pipes clog and burst
This isn’t your average everyday disappointment.
This is ADVANCED disappointment.
Like an 18 wheeler going off a cliff
Dam lost the game by a hair
When the Blue Jays meet a playoff team:
Anyone want to chat small kitchen appliances? Stand mixers perhaps?
Lifeless offense. I don’t think any of our at bats were enjoyable today, just had the feeling nothing productive was going to happen
Finally solved the RISP issue. Can’t be bad at it if you don’t have any RISP
Lowest point of the season until this time tomorrow.
Schneider has to go. He shouldn’t be in charge for one more game.
I’m an eternal optimist. This is by far the lowest I’ve been all season.
Shit sucks, I’m sad, this team makes me sad. see y’all tomorrow.
Im fuming and sad at the same time. The 2023 jays officially broke my hope. Lets fire atkins, schneider and start fresh. And get a damn hitting coach and some better hitters next season.
The body language of the coaches and the players are just not good at all. Serious issues are happening in this clubhouse. This team is in a playoff race and they’re looking and playing like they’re a bottom feeder who can’t wait to get out of town and go home
What a frustrating series. Absolutely no heart
Can’t wait for those expected stats to kick in.
This team is unprepared. Blame management. How do you get them out? Just throw soft outside and you’ll get 7/9 out every time through the order. If you watch guys get out the same way over and over, how are you not losing your mind?
April 1: “We’re going into the season as one of the World Series Favourites!”
June 1: “Can’t wait to laugh at you at the end of the season when we’re still competing for the division”
August 1: “Can’t wait to laugh at you at the end of the season when we’re leading the Wild Card race”
Now: “Can’t wait to laugh at you at the end of the season IF we make the playoffs”
They should have to dump a vat of Buckleys cough medicine on someone as the losing version of the Gatorade bath
This should be the nail in the coffin in JS and Atkins tenures with the Blue Jays.
Good on the fans for booing the shit out of these losers. Louder tomorrow night please.
Also be good to hear a “Fire Atkins” chant too.
Not too often I’m embarrassed about sports but man I couldn’t even watch these guys make fools of themselves tonight.
So many firings coming this off season, starting with every single “hitting” coach
Amazing what AA is doing with the braves right now…
Can the Jays hire the Budweiser Chief Home Run Officer as the hitting coach? Desperate at this point.
Why would you want to see this team in the playoffs at this point. Are the playoffs a crap shoot? Absolutely they are, and anything can happen. However, why get in just to get dummied in the wildcard again. No fucking thank you
This is the true Blue Jays. Gutless and a bunch of quitters. Reflection of the coaching staff and front office.
I can only hope heads roll in the offseason for this piss poor performance.
Now the team knows why there’ll be empty stands.
This season is making me realize we really fucked up not going deeper in ’21 and ’22, especially ’21 with 2nd and 3rd MVPs and the CY Young award winner.
Should’ve known the season was over when we had to scratch and claw to barely beat the worst teams in baseball the last 2 weeks. That’s All Folks’. It’s over
This team is just embarrassing, trash and humiliating. No effort shown whatsoever. The players look depressed and they look like they’ve given up. Why should us the fans care if they don’t care. This whole season has been frustrating, and that’s the only thing consistent about this team.
Hard not to think there’s a lack of effort when you get blown out 10-0 at home in the biggest series of the year after already dropping the first two games. The boys didn’t even get a guy to second…
Something is just off with this team. Team leadership and chemistry problem I think
What a piss poor response from this team
Not a single competitive moments this entire series.
The craziest part is if we swept or won this series 3-1, we’re probably as good as in to the playoffs. Now it’s a fucking meme climbing back and letting an AL East team end our season
Show us the clip of vlad coming in early again working on his swing ..
Schneider just said “everything is in front of us”. Fucking Boone shit.
