  1. Definitely as long as there’s a good contrast to their primary colors.

Red vs blue is awesome but red vs orange would be a headache.

  2. I feel like more teams should be able to have their jerseys to be other light colours. As long as they don’t contrast with another team in the nhl. Example, one of my created hockey teams in chel has a lime green away jersey. Doesn’t clash with any other jersey in the league. I also have a team with a beige away jersey. Same thing.

  3. If allowed by the home team if they agree with the contrast. Kinda like how the leafs let their opponent wear colors for their white alternate

  4. How a lot of soccer does it: Home team picks its jersey first, then away team picks theirs that doesn’t clash. Liverpool vs. Everton, for example, is always going to be red vs. blue

  5. Should have the concept of home and away strips, with the away team having a third strip just in case their away strip is too close to the home team’s one.

  6. As long as jerseys aren’t similar colors, teams should wear whatever they want, just like in soccer.

  7. i’d love this. i always use the Leafs Red Wings Winter Classic as an example of why this would be so awesome. of course, colours shouldn’t clash, in which case someone can bust out a white, based on what the home team wants to do.

  8. Not take: Yellow should not be considered a dark jersey and should be used interchangeably with white jerseys

  9. Absolutely. As long as each team has contrast, they should wear whatever non-black/white jerseys they have.

  10. Primary and secondary is cool, but have to consider the fans and players who are color blind. It’s pretty common. Certain color combos can be difficult for people to differentiate.
