And here we see the rare instance of the creation of a MEME. It is an enchanting sight to see. So young and pure at heart. *David Attenborough voice*
My favourite moment of the game, other than it being over, was Varsho rumbling into third and roaring at our dugout.
That non-slide into home was so slick.
Edit: I rewatched it. The Sox called for a review claiming he left early, he timed it perfectly and then focused on the catcher’s glove looking for movement, but didn’t see any so he didn’t slide. This game shows why baserunning is a thing and why it’s killing me in OOTP.
Jaying intensified a bit there.

I thought he’d be bigger
He really does try to play the game the right way. He just strikes me as a sort of guy who has his head in the game all the time. Always focused. If he ever figures it out at the plate he’s going to be one of the most popular players on this team. I really love watching him play. Plays hard, runs everything out and never takes anything for granted.
