I have been a Cardinals fan since I was born. My father was a lifelong Cardinals fan, he was even born in 1946 one of the years they won the World Series!!! I lost him 10 years ago 9/10/13. Today we took our son to his FIRST Cardinals game today. As many Cardinals fans are aware when they take the field they throw balls back and forth to help warm up. Well we were in the area just left of the foul ball pole, and directly by where Jordan Walker is in the outfield. My son had a sign that said “This is my FIRST Cardinals game!!!”, Walker saw it, at after warming up he jogs over and gives it to my son and fist bumps him. I cried, my heart soared for my son, myself and my Dad whom I knew was watching, and I could feel him there with us. My Cardinals Fan Girl is deeply happy and grateful.

i remember my first spring training game in the late 90s, had to be 98 or 99. Mcgwire wasn’t playing but standing off to the side watching. My dad pointed him out to me and i ran over and reached out with my ball and sharpie and Mark signed it. It’s a moment i’ll
never forget and i’m certain your kids won’t forget this moment either

Now This made me smile! I Landed today, I’m 30. I’ll see my first game in Busch tomorrow. I’m lucky to have my dad with me too. Congrats on the ball!
