Twins have a very easy remaining part of their schedule. Astros, not as much (other than KC). Twins also hold season series over the Astros and would win the tiebreaker

Possible, but improbable. We’re feeling great with a magil number of 6 against the guards, but the Astros have a magil number of 8 on us
Maybe. The Astros have a bitch of a schedule. The Twins are playing…not the best teams in the league to close it out
Possible but not likely. They play Baltimore and Seattle which could help, but they also play Kansas City. Even if Houston went 6-6 in their last 12, we’d have to win out.
If the Stros go on a skid where the Twins overtake them, it’s even more likely that Texas and/or Seattle overtake them as well.
Astros did just drop a series to KC
The 2 seed isn’t realistic. It’s not just catching Houston; it would involve passing all three of HOU, TEX and SEA.
I’m still waiting for us to find a way to lose the division
