It’s a simple solution, but we opened the door with sponsored helmet stickers. Pretty soon the logo will be a shoulder patch and the ad will be front & center.
They should’ve put the 30th anniversary logo on the shoulders.
It’s ridiculous that the AHL has figured out how to do this properly for years, but the NHL is stumbling along and making it all look awkward.
Talk to your AHL counterparts, NHL teams. They actually have experience at not making jerseys look like crap, despite ads and other patches.
Already had the worst jerseys in the league. This does not helo
